MASS EFFECT 2 pre-order armor best bet?

I can't decide which armor to get with my pre-order for Mass Effect 2...

The amazon.com pre-order looks better but doesn't include a gun. I believe its called the inferno armor and it looks better than Gamestop's.

The Gamestop.com armor looks so-so and has a gun that also appears so-so but really is a better deal...what should I do?MASS EFFECT 2 pre-order armor best bet?
You have an extra exclusive items alternative which I will mention later in this comment. I think you should also consider the impact of the exclusive items on your gameplay experience. If I remember properly the attributes of the armor sets, you should see which of these suit your preferences better:

1.- Inferno armor: improves stamina and reflexes

2.- Terminus assault armor: increases shield strenght by 15%, +1 heavy weapon ammo magazine, POSSIBLY improves the tactical cloak.

IMPORTANT: In Mass Effect 2, armor appearance can be altered without affecting armor performance. In other words, you can make armors look the way you like while keeping their attributes. While it is certain this will affect regular in-game armors, I do not know if it also affects the exclusive armors.

If that's not enough to decide and you still want a weapon, you might be interested in pre-ordering a Digital Deluxe Edition. You get most of the exclusive content the physical Deluxe Edition gets (although digitalized) PLUS a precision burst rifle. This weapon fires accurate, powerful projectiles in bursts of 3, and presumably is handled pretty much like a regular Mass Effect sniper rifle.

The Blackstorm heavy weapon (included with GameStop preorder) is basically a damage-oriented singularity caster. It works in a very similar way to the Singularity biotic power, except that the singularity created by this weapon seems to be much, much more efficient at destroying enemies, rather than simply delaying them. It is handled differently to other heavy weapon in the sense that it requires a brief charge-up time. I don't know if this means it requires some sort of power cell ammo or if it runs on a self-replenishing power source.

So, in the end, you get one extra choice. Let us summarize:

1.- Terminus assault armor + blackstorm heavy weapon (GameStop)

2.- Inferno armor (Amazon)

3.- Inferno armor PLUS precision burst rifle (digital deluxe, from Direct 2 Drive or Steam. DRAWBACK: you exchange physical possession of the special edition items, for digital possession of this content. You ALSO get the ME2 soundtrack with this, and it hasn't been confirmed or denied whether or not this might be available in the physical special edition, so this one might be an extra plus.

I hope this is enough to help you decide what package suits you best.MASS EFFECT 2 pre-order armor best bet?
You should decide for yourself after looking at the pictures and videos of the armors that you can find here:

If you own Dragon Age: Origins, you pretty much already have a brand new armor. If you register that game at EA.com you'll get the Blood Dragon Armor for in Mass Effect 2. That's what I'm going to do. This way I won't have to pre-order anything.MASS EFFECT 2 pre-order armor best bet?
Do you want to make money or not?

If you want to make money, I say go with the GS one because you get two items, and if you don't like the gun, you can probably sell it.

If you're not looking to make money, go with the Amazon one because you get 10 bucks off on your next video game purchase. I would pre-order from Amazon if I was going to get the regular edition.
I went with the Best Buy pre-order (Inferno I think). It looked cool!I am very excited for this game; it should be great!!! I loved Mass Effect!
