How do i get the armor in mass effect 2 and the blackstorm heavy gun? can someone please walk me thru it?

i created the account on xbox and i went on the website ( mass effect.com) and i thought everything went through but i think something im doing is wrong plz help meHow do i get the armor in mass effect 2 and the blackstorm heavy gun? can someone please walk me thru it?
A lot of people have problems with this.

1. Go to EA.com and make an account using the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS as your xbox live account.

2. After you make your account, go to masseffect.com and log in using that ea account.

3. Click on Redeem Code and Type in the code. (Caps and hyphens matter). DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY OF THE FILES. If you download the file, you CAN NOT download the armor IN-GAME anymore.

4. I also believe you need to have a Cerberus Code (in the Game) and input that code too.

5. When you play the game (must be on Xbox Live) on the main page it'll say "Logging in to Cerberus Network).

6. If you did step 1-5 correctly, then you will log in to the Cerberus Network.

7. Go to Extras then Downloadable Content and Download anything that is there

8. Enjoy Mass Effect 2 (I hope you played thorugh Mass Effect 1, cause that gives more bonuses)
