Pre-ordering Mass Effect 2, what do you get for doing so?

I read that at Gamestop you get a certain armor and gun, special armor anywhere else. With Dragon Age Origins you get dragon armor, and the collectors edition has collectors armor and gun. My question would be are any of the armors better than the other? Would the armors and guns you get later on in the game be far better than the ones you get for pre-ordering? and again could i pre-order and buy every different kind and obtain every armor possible? or would it just be a waste to get the collectors edition?Pre-ordering Mass Effect 2, what do you get for doing so?
