Mass Effect 2 (PS3) Where can I buy Weapons, Ammo, and Armor?

Im about 7hrs into the game and I have only found a few stores, and I currently have more than 90'000 credits.So where do I go to purchase stuff like Weapons, Ammo, and Armor??



For example in Mass Effect 1 there was a Black Market dealer.Mass Effect 2 (PS3) Where can I buy Weapons, Ammo, and Armor?

You don't buy weapons, ammo and armor in Mass Effect 2.

You buy "upgrades" from vendors or find them in the course of a mission. They will either be applied instantly or you then have to do the relevant research at the research console in Mordin's Lab on the Normandy.

Even after buying the upgrade at a Vendor using your credits, researching costs resources such as Platinum, Element Zero or whatever.

You will find one or two armor parts at certain vendors. These can be applied by going to Shepard's cabin on the Normandy and going to customise your appearance. You can only add these parts to the standard armor, not any DLC armors.

There are 3 vendors on Omega, 4 on the Citadel, 3 (4 if you count the star chart vendor) on Illium and 2 on Tuchanka.
