Weapon upgrades are either applied automatically when you buy them, or when you research them at the terminal in the lab (only after you get the scientist). Armor 'upgrades' can be swapped out at the armor terminal in the captain's quarters on the Normandy (take the elevator to the top of the ship). You can't change the armor for your teammates, the most you can do is change the color of their suit after you complete their loyalty mission (as long as you don't fail the mission, and as long as you gain their loyalty by not failing the mission).How do you upgrade weapons and armor in Mass Effect 2?
Gotta talk to mordin to get the upgrades, they are from then on on the wepon by defalt on that play thur. You can pick your squard mates guns before missons and at the load out stand but there armor is permanite with the exseption of color changes that you get after there loyaty misson, you get one alternet color.
