You can't but weapons or armor, you can only buy upgardes. But you can go to the Citadel, Omega, Illium, and Tuchunka to buy upgades or you find them while on missions.
You can't actually buy weapons and armor in ME2, only upgrades. Shoulder Pads, extra ammo carriers, a pistol or shotgun, etc, extras. You can find these at stores in most major ports, like the Citadel, Omega, Tuchanka, or Illium.

The only armor you can buy, is literally. You can buy it over X-Box live, and I'm sure you can download it if you play on a PC.Where do you buy weapons and armor in mass effect 2?
at various kiosks on the planets.....on the citadel they are on the corner stores.....on omega there are 3 shops in the lower level of the city.....there's a krogan on tuchanka that sells stuff.....



just look for folks in places like that (they seem to have a computer screen up on their counter)

You only pick up better weapons during missions.
